Thanks to the support of the Los Altos Education Foundation, we are lucky to have the Starting Arts Program. This program consists of four six week rotations in art, drama, dance, and music. For each rotation, we have an outside teacher specialized in each fine art category. We are currently in the art rotation. Our teacher is Eva Sprintz. The Starting Arts teachers typically invite parents to the last day of instruction to showcase what the students have been working on. Look for information on these days in the weekly newsletter. The last lesson focused on lines to create a realistic setting. Students chose to create a fruit bowl or a vase of flowers. It was great to see their creativity in action.
